Sunday Devotional; Genesis 8:22, Ben Segebart and Family
• Series: Individual Sermons
Today's devotional is about RHYTHMS. Below are a couple questions you can answer by yourself or with others as well as the scripture references mentioned in the 12 min video. Happy Snow Day! Genesis 2:2; Genesis 8:22; Ecclesiastes 3:1-4; Mark 6:31-32 1. How are your life rhythms? - Do you feel tired, board, lonely, unhealthy, too busy? Why do you feel this way? 2. Identify a few things that you like about your daily or weekly routines? What things would you like to change? 3. How is your relationship with God reflected in your routines? - Prayer, time in the word, service and conversations with other believers. 4. How would you describe your family rhythm? - If life is a marathon are you running together or are you relationally moving apart? - What realistic thing could you do to slowly get back on rhythm? - For people with family outside the home; what rhythms can you build in to connect with family? (A weekly phone call, annual vacation weekend, game night? Get creative!) 5. Like not changing the oil in your car, you can get away with a bad rhythm for a long time BUT it will have consequences. What possible consequences could happen if you don't make small changes? What positive consequences if you do? A healthy life rhythm comes from honoring God with your time and responsibilities. What will you do with the time and opportunities God has given you? Life is an adventure; God bless!
